Reina Krumm
Director of Photography
Reina Krumm is a young filmmaker and director of photography with a strong sensibility for visual storytelling. Her passion for photography began in primary school and continued to grow through her education at the School of Graphics, where she studied Media Technology and first seriously engaged with moving images.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in photography at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, having previously completed her undergraduate studies there. Throughout her education, she has worked on several short films — from personal projects and entrance exams to student assignments and her graduation film. Some of the notable projects include Father Aleksandar (created at the Bistre Reke film camp), Kaizen (a student exercise), and Ča smo na ovon svitu (her undergraduate graduation film).
In her work, she places special emphasis on the relationship between image and emotion. For her, each new project is an opportunity to learn, explore, and grow — both artistically and personally.
