Janja Pilić
Journalist and Producer
Janja Pilić is a journalist and producer with a passion for animation, storytelling, and the intersection of creativity and technology. She is the co-founder of Croatian animation studio TETRABOT, where she previously worked as a producer on both commercial and artistic projects for four years. Highlights include producing the short animation “Fačuk," currently circulating at festivals such as Annecy and Animafest, and a TVC for the milk brand “Kravica kraljica.” In media, she has freelanced as a journalist, screenwriter, director, and producer for outlets including Croatian Radiotelevision, RTL, Styria Media Group, Grazia, and Netokracija. She also has experience in film distribution, including the national release of Miyazaki’s Academy Award-winning animation feature "The Boy and the Heron." Beyond film and media, she has worked in marketing, PR, and festival coordination. Additionally, she explored videogame production and completed the Blender for Game Development education at SIMORA/PISMO Novska. Curious and inquisitive, she loves exploring innovation while appreciating art and aesthetics.
