As the dean of the Brand Marketer Academy, Fernando is in charge of shaping the pro-

Before his current functions, Fernando was director of marketing at Activision Blizzard, where he led marketing initiatives for some of the most iconic titles in the video game industry, including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch and Candy Crush. Before that, he spent seven years at Restaurant Brands International, where he had a key role in strengthening brands such as Burger King, Popeyes and Tim Hortons. Fernando started his career at Unilever, where he spent 18 years, especially highlighted by leading revolutionary campaigns, including the famous Dove cam-"Real Beauty Sketches" stump. Machado is a two-time winner of the prestigious award Adweek Grand Brand Genius (2013 and 2018), the only one to achieve this, and is often recognized as one of the most innovative marketing leaders.
